The 2nd edition of MUNICH DESIGN DAYS will take place from March 12 to 15, 2026 on the Praterinsel in a special architectural context.
Centrally located in the design and furnishing metropolis of Munich, the new format with a curated selection of interior design companies is aimed at interior architects, architects, interior designers, interior decorators, hoteliers, contractors and all interior professionals.
An island in the middle of the city - the Praterinsel in Munich's city center is the central venue for the first Munich Design Days. The historical and architectural reference to a former spirits factory is also reflected in the names of the rooms and areas: Füllhalle, Orangerie, Zollgewölbe, Wurzelkeller. National and international design companies present themselves on over 2,000 square meters.
Design meets textiles - The Munich Design Days are complementary and independent, but linked to the textile format Münchner Stoff Frühling , which has been developing successfully for years. In cooperation with the textile manufacturers of Münchner Stoff Frühlings , design meets elaborate textile stagings, installations and a fabric library on Praterinsel. Shuttle buses connect the Praterinsel with the Münchner Stoff Frühlings showrooms. Good news: significantly more exhibitors will be showing their new products to trade visitors on Praterinsel and in the city of Munich.
