Dr. Angelika Nollert

Dr. ANGELIKA NOLLERT has been Director of Die Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum in Munich since 2014. After working at Skulptur.Projekte in Münster (1997), curator of Portikus in Frankfurt am Main (1997-2000), she took over the project management of Documenta 11 in 2001/2002 and became project manager in the visual arts section of the Siemens Arts Program from 2002-2007. From 2007-2014 she was director of the Neues Museum für Kunst und Design in Nuremberg.
Her work as an art historian focuses on the continuities and overlaps between the various disciplines of design, art and architecture. Dr. Nollert holds numerous publications and teaching positions.
